Sweet New ‘Wolverine’ Character Shot

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is undergoing some extensive reshoots in Vancouver right now, but I refuse to take this as a bad sign for the movie.  The original run of filming was marred with disagreements between Gavin Hood and 20th Century Fox over the look of the film, with Hood trying for a darker tone and Fox trying for a lighter one.

Now that The Dark Knight has proven that ultra-dark can be ultra-profitable, maybe Hood won that argument.  And maybe the reshoots will give the movie a more consistent tone than it would’ve had before.

I guess the main reason I’m not worried boils down to a simple three words.

No Brett Ratner.

Anyway, AICN got their hands on this new publicity still, and it’s pretty spectacular: Deadpool, Gambit, Wolverine, Sabertooth, and Silver Fox all in one photo.  (I’m still waiting to see a glimpse of Dominic Monaghan’s Beak, though.)  Click for an ultra-big version.  A new desktop wallpaper, perhaps?  Yeah, we’re that cool.  Are you?

Its an optical illusion since he is standing closer to the camera than everyone else it only looks like wolverine is the tallest. and i would have to agree about time gambit was in a X-men movie

Ok, I wanna know why Gambit looks like hes a asian woman in this photo????? It took me literally like 5 minutes to see any male features in him here. His hair is even way to bouncy for being a male.. sorry im very opinionated tonight.

It took ‘em long enough to put Gambit in a movie. I loved the Deadpool character too.
