Today’s the eve of the Oscar nominations, which will be announced tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m. EST by Forest Whitaker and Academy president Sid Ganis.  But today also marks the announcement of the Razzie nominations, and let’s face it, that’s even more exciting.

Since 1980, the Golden Raspberry awards have been awarding the worst movies of the year.  Past winners include Battlefield Earth, Basic Instinct 2, Showgirls, and most recently, I Know Who Killed Me.  The 2009 Razzie nominations are:

I would argue that Uwe Boll is less offensive than the “comedy” duo of Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg, because Boll has been an inconsequential footnote for a while.  Seltzer and Friedberg, on the other hand, masquerade as popular entertainers and, probably, actually think they’re really funny.
