So here it is. One of the greatest mixtures of Live Action and Animated filmmaking ever is getting a sequel. Robert Zemeckis’s classic Roger Rabbit looks to be making its way onto the the director’s slate. In an interview with MTV he dropped this tidbit:

“I’ll tell you what is buzzing around in my head now that we have the ability—the digital tools, performance capture—I’m starting to think about ‘Roger Rabbit,’”

A total confirmation? Hardly. But enough to get us excited and apprehensive at the same time. Fingers crossed this won’t end up being the next Beowulf.
