Arclight to Hold Batman Marathons Leading up to Dark Knight Rises

Just found out about this, and it’s awesome: for our readers in southern California, Arclight Cinemas is doing a marathon of Christopher Nolan‘s two other Batman films leading up to the midnight release of The Dark Knight Rises on the night of Thursday, July 19th.

Taking place at all Arclight locations, the marathon will start at 6:00pm on the 19th with Batman Begins, followed by The Dark Knight at 8:45pm, all leading up to the midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises at midnight. This follows in the same vein as the recent day-long marathons that AMC held at select locations in anticipation for the release of The Avengers.

I, for one, will be attending.
