This past weekend Dreamwork Animation’s Ice Age: Continental Drift reigned supreme in its first weekend with $46.0 Million. In it second week of release, Sony’s The Amazing Spider-man continued to entangle audiences in its web making an additional $35 Million bringing its total to over $200 Million.
Seth MacFarlane’s Ted still manages to reel in the laughs in its third week at $22.1 Million. Pixar’s Brave continues to enchant audiences at $10.7 million, with Magic Mike ($9.0 Mil ) and Oliver Stone’s The Savages ($8.7 Mil) and) on its heels respectively.
Changing up the list just a bit in seventh and eighth place both Katy Perry: Part Of Me and Tyler Perry’s Madea Witness Protection garnered $3.7Mil each.
Rounding out the top ten are critically acclaimed independents Moonrise Kingdom at $3.7 Mil and another Dreamwork masterpiece Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted ($3.5Mil).
