Who cares about Kristen Stewart’s off and on-set antics? A lot of people, including Jodie Foster who empathizes with the plight of a child actress under constant scrutiny as well as the army of Kstew fans who have come to her defense since her much-publicized break-up with Robert Pattinson. BFD? Well, The Hollywood Reporter created a bit of an uproar this week when it announced that Stewart would not be invited to the sequel of Snow White and The Huntsman, implying her cheat with Director Rupert Sanders was a factor and even providing explicit details about how the creative team plans to write around her. Always check your sources, that’s what I say.
After a fire started on the twitterverse, an executive from Universal rushed in to put it out, stating for the record that “Any reports that Kristen Stewart has been dropped are false.” The film has already brought in $400 million in box-office receipts. So, if all this hubbub sells more tickets, I’m sure Universal won’t be crying, “awkwaaaard!”
