More Tom Cruise News… Top Gun 2 Finally Happening

Director Tony Scott and producer Jerry Bruckheimer have confirmed that they are currently in pre-production of the sequel to the much loved 1986 action flick Top Gun. The script is currently being written.

Tom Cruise has also been confirmed attached to Hollywood’s latest sequel project. It is rumoured that he’ll play the new rookie flyers’ flight instructor, taking the places of Jester and Viper.

Just like its counterpart, Top Gun 2 will probably feature new up-and-coming actors. Who will be in Top Gun 2? Josh Hutcherson? Logan Lerman? Aaron Johnson? We’ll have to wait until 2013 to find out!
