Mrs. Pitt Throws a Fit

Brad Pitt’s mother has recently drawn controversy for a very conservative op-ed piece she wrote for the Springfield News-Leader.

As many know Brad and Angelina Jolie have stated that they will not be married until ALL people in the country can be married, showing support for same-sex marriage.

However, it doesn’t seem that Brad’s mother shares the same laissez-faire attitude that Brad does. In her op-ed, she criticized Barack Obama, who she called a, “liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage.”

It seems that Mrs. Pitt steers to the right as far as politics goes. She also stated that Christians should consider Mitt Romney as a candidate, despite his Mormon religion, which differs from her Christianity, because Mitt has “high morals, business experience… is against abortion, and shares Christian conviction concerning homosexuality…”

Well, either way, neither Obama nor Romney have begun to push for gay marriage laws, Obama is just saying he “personally” believes in it, so it seems that Mrs. Pitt will have to wait even longer before she can walk down the aisle with her son at the dream wedding!
