I remember the moment I first saw footage of “The Warrior’s Way” quite fondly. It was like nothing I had seen before, a level of stylization that would put Sin City to shame. The art style aside, the movie looked like a hell of a lot of fun, boasting intense action sequences and a group of actors that wouldn’t have come together if the script wasn’t at least an interesting premise. It’s an all-star cast including Academy Award® winner Geoffrey Rush (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides), Kate Bosworth (Superman Returns), Danny Huston (Clash of the Titans) and international sensation Jang Dong Gun. I never ended up seeing the film, as it flew under the radar for most of its theatrical release, and I’ve been anxiously waiting for the chance to check it out.

Luckily for all of us, June 28th marks the Bluray release of “The Warrior’s Way” complete with a host of deleted scenes and exclusive making-of materials. This is the kind of film bluray was made to show off, and I for one am excited to get a chance to check it out.
