Rounding off the special features is the first episode of the Japanese anime TV series Blood +, seen on Adult Swim. This inexplicable feature wreaks of nothing more than a cheap marketing ploy to snag anime fans to the film.
30 Days Of Night certainly impresses with incredibly terrifying vampires and great blood and gore effects. However, it does little to deflect viewers from the continually hazy and pedestrian story and characters at the root of this that will leave viewers less impressed than they could have been.
