Episode Nine: See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil:

Episode Ten: Last Call For Aunt Julie:
Eric’s youngest sister Julie suffers from alcohol abuse as her addiction causes friction between the rest of the family. This episode really shows the significance that alcohol can have on someone and how it hurts not only that particular person, but everyone around her.

Episode Eleven: Now You See Me:
Divorce for an only child causes for Tia, Matt’s new girlfriend, to spend more quality time with the family instead of being alone with him. Lucy wants to try out for the cheerleading squad, but has to overcome her clumsiness.

Episode Twelve: With A Little Help From My Friends:
Matt secretly starts a relationship with an older woman and when he starts missing church and school, his parents become alarmed. Eric also tries to help a homeless family get off the streets after he realizes that he can’t just pay the father to fix things that he broke on purpose.

Episode Fourteen: Seven Is Enough:

Episode Fifteen: Happy’s Valentine:
When Eric and Annie go on a camping trip with friends, they leave behind a house full of secret plans. Matt and Mary hold a house party while Lucy is in charge of taking her younger siblings to the movies with Jimmy. Things go awry when the cops show up and see alcohol at the party.

Episode Sixteen: Brave New World:
Ruthie heads into Kindergarten, leaving Annie feeling melancholia and Simon jealous of her new best friend. Mary is harassed at school and Lucy wants to help her best friend and asks her father to figure out the financial situation behind her friend.

Episode Seventeen: Choices:
Mary gets involved with a girl from detention who offers nothing but trouble. Lucy begins to question her own religious beliefs and asks her father for advice. Simon and Ruthie secretly buy pet ferrets and smuggle them into the house.
