too easy for Henry. Like too many other moments of the film, it rings false.
It's annoying, because the movie easily could've had me. Sure, some critics would still have made fun of the faith-empowerment message, accused it of being too simplistic or catering to Christian audiences, but I think there could have been something quietly profound about Henry. As it is, it gets about 60% of the way there.
Movie Grade: C+
Synopsis:
Henry Poole (Luke Wilson) abandons his fiancée and family business to spend what he believes are his remaining days alone ... until the discovery of a "miracle" by a nosy neighbor ruptures his solitude and restores his faith in life.
