The editing style is fast and quick without being dizzying and it has a dark edge to it that makes it sexier than most films of this type. No one is going to call you a dork for knowing the in’s and out’s of this new universe that has been created. Probably my only complaint is that somehow through all of the bullets, the bombs and the blood not once did Evans end up shirtless! I mean, c’mon have you seen his body? How do you not use that as much as possible?!? That was the only thing here where I think the director failed to capitalize on what he was working with. Now’s not the time to be modest Chris!

Special Features on the disc are somewhat limited. We have some small deleted scenes that are pretty inconsequential and then an interesting featurette that explores the possibility of these types of powers actually existing in life and are simply not known to many. The one thing that I will say is that watching this on Bluray was fantastic! The special effects were sharp and clean and really enhanced the overall viewing experience.

I have to recommend this to anyone looking for something a little different, something that isn’t a sequel or a remake and anyone who loves watching Chris Evans as much as I do!
