an outsider point of view, it’s great
material with simple themes but from a fan, it’s almost exactly like the
comic book. It’s a great thing, but it just seems like I’ve seen it all
before.
Overall it’s a solid movie made with much better scenery and content than a movie like
Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. It’s an ink inspired script
with a stellar cast and amazing special effects. You’re probably going to
have to see it based on the hype alone, but I think it’s succeeded in it’s
goal of bringing the world of Frank Miller to the silver screen.
