Sometimes the hardest part of writing a review is that there really isn’t that much to say about a given title. On the other hand it’s often equally difficult because there is just too much to talk about; such is the case with Will & Grace: The Complete Sixth Season.
There isn’t a single show on this four disc 23 episode collection that isn’t note worthy for one reason or another. Either it has some amazing guest star, as most of the episodes do, or it’s just down right hysterical!
Will & Grace is without a doubt one of my favorite shows, so this review will probably be just as biased as any of my Star Trek reviews, so I ask you to bare with me as I heap huge amounts of praise on this groundbreaking funnier than most sitcoms.
The season picks up from a cliffhanger at sea where Karen (Megan Mullally) has been thrown overboard by her arch enemy Lorraine Finster (Minnie Driver) with her ever faithful maid Rosario (Shelley Morrison) leaping to her rescue. Meanwhile, back on the yacht, Grace (Debra Messing) has discovered a love letter from the gorgeous Dr. Morty addressed to her husband Leo (Harry Connick Jr.) and Jack (Sean Hayes) and Will (Eric McCormack) have woken up nude and hung over in the same bed with no memory of the previous night. And so begins a fantastic stand out season of this eight year long laugh fest!

Sometimes this can be a hinderance to a group of actors as they end up being outshined by these huge professionals traipcing in and out every week. Of course, that never happened here; in fact a lot of the guest cast were intimidated being on set opposite these four actors who now after 5 full years had become as smooth as a well oiled machine.
With the likes of Edie Falco and Chloe Sevigny as the dreaded lesbian relators in East Side Story, James Earl Jones as himself in Me and Mr. Jones and even a single line for a yet to be discovered Brandon Routh, now of Superman fame, in A Gay / December Romance this season has so many surprises and peaks that in my mind, it really beats out just about any other season of the show.
Season six also introduces the eventual love of Will’s life, the forgetful cop with a heart of gold, Vince, played by the gorgeous Bobby Cannavale and Jack’s one long term boyfriend Stuart played by comedian Dave Foley.
Debra Messing’s real life pregnancy mid way through the season played a huge part in the show as she disappeared for a few episodes leaving room for an ...
