The ax has fallen. Again.
CBS informed producers of Jericho yesterday that their show would be canceled. This marks the second time around for the show, which saw an unprecedented fan protest to save it after CBS announced cancellation at the end of Season 1. CBS announced it would revive the show over the summer to much rejoicing, but unfortunately, its return marked even lower ratings.
Two alternate final scenes were shot - one which ends on a cliffhanger and another which wraps things up as much as possible. Naturally, the latter will be what viewers see on Tuesday's finale.
For the few obsessive fans left, it's conceivable that the show could get picked up by a cable station. But let's face it: that won't happen. |
