Michael Moore will indeed make his long-discussed follow-up project to Fahrenheit 9/11, the highest-grossing documentary ever made.

The project will be distributed by Paramount Vantage and Overture Films, which signals a departure from Moore's longtime partnership with the Weinsteins.

The film is scheduled for release in 2009, after the presidential race has been decided. That's probably best, as Fahrenheit 9/11 didn't end up being much help to John Kerry.
