Jack Black will reunite with his Kung Fu Panda writers Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger for an untitled live-action comedy about a man who wakes up on the shores of Cuba with amnesia.

Naturally, he comes to the conclusion that he must be a spy. But he's not.

The project was picked up by Universal in a seven figure deal based on a pitch. Must've been a pretty good pitch, but of course Black being on board probably helped.

The screenwriters currently have the animated feature Monsters vs. Aliens coming out, while Black has the comedy Year One, co-starring Michael Cera, out next summer.
