Megan Fox, the highly attractive but vaguely evil-looking (right?) heroine from Transformers, has joined the supernatural thriller Jennifer's Body from writer Diablo Cody.
The story, which is being compared to Heathers, follows a cheerleader who becomes possessed and evil (see? I told you) and starts killing the boys in town. Her friend must find a way to stop her.
If that sounds like one of those direct-to-video cheesefests where the box cover looks like there's going to be nudity and then it turns out there's none and they just did that to make you rent it and you fell for it like an idiot yet again, it's probably better than that. Cody's most recent project is the soon-to-be-released Juno, which has gotten great reviews on the festival circuit and is now garnering Oscar buzz. |
