I'm really excited about City of Ember. It's based on a young adult book that seems reminiscent of The Giver, has a neat concept - a city shrouded in darkness that's perhaps the only inhabited place left in the world - and stars Bill Murray in what looks like a terrific turn as the untrustworthy mayor. The trailer just came out, which you can check out for yourself below. The music goes a little overboard, but the look of the film seems terrific. It gives away one massive detail that in the book is a secret, but I have a feeling that there are plenty more surprises waiting to be discovered.
