Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man played in theaters all summer and made him a star, so what's a guy to do? Follow it up with a movie that spoofs superhero movies, of course. Luckily the movie in question, Master Mind, sounds more like The Incredibles than it does Superhero Movie.
The computer-animated flick will center on a villain (presumably named, uh, Master Mind) who accidentally kills his arch-nemesis and subsequently has an existential crisis because of it.
It's unclear whether Downey would play the titular character or take another supporting role. Entertainment Weekly adds that Tina Fey will also be joining the cast; Dreamworks is aiming for a 2010 release.
Downey also recently appeared in Tropic Thunder, will star with Jamie Foxx in this fall's The Soloist, and is set to star as Sherlock Holmes in a Guy Ritchie-directed adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle's character. |
