This weekend's top ten (in millions):
Superbad broke all expectations this weekend as it made an estimated $31.2 million over its first three days. That's practically dead even with (and actually slightly builds on) the previous summer hit from Judd Apatow, Knocked Up, which opened with $30.7 million and is currently on its way to around $150. While Apatow was the director of that film, he took producing duties on Superbad, but his hot streak -- and Seth Rogen's, who this time co-wrote the screenplay and took a supporting role -- officially continues.
