Hairspray Soundtrack Contest

Chicago proved five years ago that modern audiences could fall in love with a musical; last year's Academy Award winning Dreamgirls only strengthened that argument. And thus we now get Hairspray, a big-budgeted, star-studded summer opener that promises great music and great comedy. What could be simpler?

We happen to have gotten a hold of the official motion picture soundtrack, which features the real voices of the cast, and guess what? We're giving it away to you. And you only have to do one thing. Send an e-mail to ZakSantucci@TheCinemaSource.com, with "Hairspray" in the subject line, that answers this question: what's your favorite musical, and why? It can be a stage musical or a movie; all that matters is that your answer is creative and persuasive.
