As always San Diego Comic-Con was an incredibly overwhelming experience this year. It’s impossible to cover this event as a member of the press without ultimately feeling like you somehow missed everything!

It honestly never fails; While you’re busy covering something that you initially thought was super cool you overhear people talking about something else that’s happening at the exact same time that’s either equally cool or way, way cooler.

The TCS team was much smaller this year (thanks economy), so we had to be satisfied with the events we were able to make it to. Unfortunately, that led to fewer interviews BUT the ones we did participate in were amazing!

The highest profile ones we managed to get to were undoubtedly the various Press Conferences being held by the studios promoting their biggest up-coming films, including; Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, The Wolverine, Guardians of the Galaxy, Robocop, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and the Biggest event of the Con, a surprise conference with the cast of X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier:

Interviews with stars Joel Kinnaman, Abbie Cornish, Michael Keaton, Samuel L Jackson, and Director Jose Padilha.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes:

Interviews with stars Andy Serkis, Keri Russell, Jason Clarke, and Director Matt Reeves.

X-Men: Days of Future Past:

Interviews with stars Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Shawn Ashmore, Ellen Page, Nicholas Hoult, Peter Dinklage, Evan Peters, and Director Bryan Singer.
