The spooky, otherworldly TV series Supernatural is currently about half-way through its 9th season on The CW Network and to the delight of its’ fans has just been confirmed to return for a 10th season!

This series has a fervent following that continues to grow season by season with on-line clubs, merchandising, and an ever growing number of fan conventions.

Thousands of Supernatural fans will convene in Las Vegas as the shows’ two lead actors, Jensen Ackles & Jared Padalecki, return for one of the largest fan gatherings of the year, The Salute to Supernatural Convention!

This four day show will be held at The Rio Suites Hotel, located at 3700 W. Flamingo Road and will begin on Thursday, March 13th continuing all the way through until Sunday, March 16th.

The series follows the Winchester Brothers as they travel the USA in search of demons and other figures of the paranormal while cruising in their 1967 vintage Impala. The interplay between the two lead characters has captured a loyal fan base most likely aided by the heartthrob status of actors Ackles and Padalecki.

Supernatural offers plenty of action and gore but true fans of the series, and those most likely to attend the convention, love the brotherly bond between Ackles and Padalecki‘s characters of Dean and Sam Winchester.

The four-day convention features appearances by other Supernatural stars and also includes fan made video presentations, auctions, Supernatural costume contests, trivia contests and even Supernatural-inspired centerpiece contests.

There will also be Supernatural themed parties, music, and merchandising!

Throughout the weekend the celebrity guests from Supernatural scheduled to appear will include:

On Thursday, Rob Benedict (Chuck Shurley/Edlund Carver), Rachel Miner (Meg), Corin Nemec (Christian Campbell), Nicki Aycox (Meg Masters), Travis Wester (Harry Spangler) and AJ Buckley (Ed Zeddmore)

And then on Friday, Rob Benedict (Chuck Shurley/Edlund Carver), DJ Qualls (Garth Fitzgerald IV), Ty Olsson (Benny/Eli), Kim Rhodes (Sherrif Jody Mills) and Osric Chau (Kevin Tran).

The weekends biggest, most exciting day will be Saturday as the stars of Supernatural, Sam and Dean Winchester themselves, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles take the stage!

Joining the boys on Saturday we also have Misha Collins (Castiel),  Matt Cohen (Young John Winchester), Chad Lindberg (Ash), and the Co-Executive producer Jim Michaels.

And then on Sunday, our final day, we have scheduled to appear Misha Collins (Castiel), Mark Sheppard (Crowley), Aldis Hodge (Jake Talley), Mark Pellegrino (Lucifer/Nick), Felicia Day (Charlie Bradbury) and Sebastian Roche (Balthazar).

Hosting all four days will be Richard Speight, Jr. (Trickster/Gabriel).

This Supernatural weekend will also feature several After Hours Events:

On Thursday night there will be a live concert with Louden Swain, featuring band members by Rob Benedict (Supernatural’s actor and singer), Mike Borja, Billy Moran and Stephen Norton.  A separate ticket is required and is $10.

Friday night will feature a free karaoke party with hosts Richard Speight, Jr. and Matt Cohen, “Lounge Lizards”.

Saturday night will feature a celebrity cabaret will Misha Collins as well as more celebrities to be announced.

People often ask me why I’m willing to sacrifice everything else in my life to keep this little TCS empire of mine going and the answer is, opportunities like this one.

My Exclusive One on One Interview with Kate Mulgrew (that William Shatner crashed mid-way through) at the 12th Annual Star Trek Convention in Vegas, presented by Creation Entertainment is the reason I keep going.

Having the opportunity to conduct a deep, insightful interview with an amazing actress about a fascinating character on a killer new show that everyone is loving is a real gift to an interviewer such as myself.

Of course the fact that both Kate and Bill have been heroes of mine since I was a child was the icing on the cake to be sure; but conducting this interview was an honor and a privilege.

Our recent trip to Las Vegas to cover The Official Star Trek 2013 Vegas Convention, presented by Creation Entertainment, was well worth it!

We walked away with over a dozen Exclusive One on One Interviews with stars like William Shatner, Kate Mulgrew, Nichelle Nichols, Michael Dorn, LeVar Burton, Marina Sirtis, John de Lancie, Dominic Keating, Rene Auberjonois, Cirroc Lofton, Anthony Montgomery, Casey Biggs, Barry Jenner, Gary Graham, Eric Pierpoint and Robert Picardo.

We also met tons of fans and actually challenged some of these wonderful Star Trek experts and aficionados to some Trek Trivia in our own new segment called, Trekspert; where they were able to win some fabulous prizes by trying to stump me with the hardest, most obscure questions they could come up with.

But most importantly by doing all of this… we boldly went where no TCS-er had gone before!

When we covered the Los Angeles return of the Grand Slam: Star Trek & Sci-Fi Summit presented by Creation Entertainment this past February, I don’t think we realized the wonderful doors that would be opening for us as a result.

That weekend was a fantastic success for us as we sat down and chatted with some of our favorite Trek actors like Brent Spiner, Michael Dorn, Gates McFadden, Rene Auberjonois, Armin Shimerman, Robert Picardo, Connor Trinneer, Dominic Keating, Aron Eisenberg, Chase Masterson and even some non-Trek folks like Sam Witwer star of the Syfy Series, Being Human, and the star of NBC’s Grimm, David Giuntoli.

Everyone at Creation was so incredibly wonderful to work with that when we heard about the upcoming Trek explosion happening in Las Vegas, we had no choice but to get on board!

The Official Star Trek 2013 Vegas Convention will be taking place from August 8th – August 11th.

So, next Thursday I’ll be leading a small TCS team down to The Rio Suites Hotel for 4 Trek-filled days packed with celebrity interviews, themed events and a new segment called, Trekspert; where I’ll give people the chance to stump me on Star Trek Trivia. (yeah, good luck on that folks!)

We’ll be on hand at the Convention in Sin City for the entire 4 day weekend and will be interviewing tons of your favorite celebrities, the event organizers and of course chatting with as many die hard fans as we possibly can!

Over 100 Celebrity Guests have been confirmed and we’re going to be doing our damnedest to chat with ALL of them!

One of the genre’s great traditions continues as Creation Entertainment proudly presents the return of THE GRAND SLAM SHOW: THE STAR TREK & SCI-FI SUMMIT.

For close to two decades Grand Slam was “the” convention of the year for fans of Star Trek and all new and vintage sci-fi and genre TV and films.

So now, in a time when the field is huge in both, Creation decided to bring this massive event back to L.A. thanks to the urging of fans, followers and past attendees.

The Los Angeles area needed a big Star Trek and Sci-Fi media show and now it’s here!

The new added element to this proud long standing tradition this year is going to be us! We here at TCS will be on hand at the Convention all weekend long interviewing tons of your favorite celebrities, the event organizers and of course chatting with as many die hard fans as we possibly can!

As always, this event boasts an impressive roster of guests including the entire cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Marina Sirtis, Gates McFadden as well as Rene Auberjonois, Aron Eisenberg, Chase Masterson, Jeffrey Combs and Armin Shimerman from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Robert Picardo from Star Trek: Voyager and Connor Trinneer and Dominic Keating from Star Trek: Enterprise.
