Gwyneth Paltrow’s Music Video | Country Strong

Country Strong is the latest effort from Gwyneth Paltrow.  Yes, it does seem so wrong to say that.

 

Paltrow, who is best known as a classy, prim and proper (or snobby, stuck up — depending on your view) isn't exactly the type to pull off a country star.  She can act, and that's what she's going to have to do — very well in fact — if she is going to be able to win over audiences for Country Strong.

 

To put this over the top, not only is she starring in a movie she seems a bit out of place for, she has now released a music video for the title track of the movie.  Rather than spoil it with my own opinions, you can decide for yourself below.

 

By the way, Paltrow can really sing.  If you've seen Duets with Huey Lewis, you'd know Paltrow can carry a tune — which isn't the issue.  She has a good voice and actually received offers from record companies after the movie released, just for your trivia night on Wednesday.
