Third Robert Langdon Story Coming to a Bookstore, and a Cinema, Near You… Angels and Demons Sequel in the Works

So Columbia’s moving forward with another film based on the character made famous by Tom Hanks in director Ron Howard’s films based on Dan Brown’s best-selling novels. I know what you’re thinking. “There’s only two books right?” Well, a few months ago, Brown stated in a press release that he had completed writing on a third Robert Langdon novel, the official continuation of the story you all that was over after The DaVinci Code. The temp title was “The Skeleton Key” but the official announcement has the third book’s title, easily the most anticipated written work since the last Harry Potter, as The Lost Symbol which will arrive in bookstores on September 15th, 2009.

Assuming of course that Angels and Demons manages to make some good bank, you can bet that Howard and Hanks would be ready to team up again for another go-round. In the meantime, check out the newest TV Spots for the second Langdon film, and theoretically the first Langdon book, below:
