Okay so maybe it wasn’t the greatest title I’ve ever come up with, but have you noticed how since The Lord of the Rings made dirt and sweat fashionable in the previously spotless fantasy realm everybody and their mother are sporting grunge under their fingertips and a five o’clock shadow? Seriously, what’s next, a Judd Apatow comedy chronicling the underground sport of extreme mud wrestling? Wait, that could actually be pretty good… but I digress.

In the meantime, feast your eyes on yet another gritty, grungy, dirty excuse for a post-apocalyptic future in Terminator Salvation. We have three pre-color bleaching stills from the set to share with you, in addition to four new TV Spots, the fourth of which premiered today courtesy of TheMovieBox.net. In case you weren’t aware, nukes also remove all the available sources of color in nature and the world in general… that’s why it always looks almost black and white. Cool right? Kind of getting old fast right? A little bit too far with the questions? Thought so.

I am really liking the Nine Inch Nails song they picked for the marketing though. In case you were wondering, it’s called “The Day the World Went Away.” Download it, thank me later. The brand new TV Spots are embedded below for your viewing pleasure (much faster than the YouTube encodes, and less jittery too). Hear Christian Bale growl at his underlings and shoot lots of guns on May 21st.
